We are one of Ireland's top wedding bands and have over 10 years experience playing at weddings, pubs and clubs all over Ireland, Northern Ireland & the UK. We understand what is needed to create a fantastic night of entertainment for your guests and are sure to keep your dance floor full all night.
We have a wide repertoire of songs and can cater for the more modern couple while keeping in mind that it's important to keep the older folk entertained also. We play from old to new and are sure to keep everyone happy and dancing.
Rubix can fill your dance floor for over two hours with a set list that suits everybody's taste. We tend to cover a wide range of music from indie rock, 60's, 80's & modern chart favourites with songs from The Beatles, Johnny Cash, James Brown, Bruno Mars, Paulo Nutini, Pharrell Williams. We've become known for our mega mix medley that brings back some of those 90's dance tunes we all loved and is sure to have the place hopping.
Our set is always quite lively and full of reasons to get on the dance floor. So if your looking for a modern band who know how to keep everyone entertained then Rubix are the band for you. We provide a DJ set directly after the band so there is no downtime at your party. We have a wide selection of songs and take great pride in playing the perfect mixes for your guests. Keeping the music going after the band ensures a full dance floor all night.

Some of our
Our set usually spans about 2 & a half hours. There is usually a short break for evening supper (tea/sandwiches) depending on the venue. Our set may span a little longer or shorter depending on restrictions by the venue, not us. We play for as long as we can and very much enjoy doing that. We find 2 & a half hours is a good length for the live band set after which the DJ usually starts.
We usually arrive early, most likely when your still eating your meal or speeching. We'll move in to set as soon as it's possible to. It usually takes 1 hour to set up, sound check and get changed.
Yes of course we can play some jives, waltzes & Irish music. They are usually included in our set anyway to keep everybody happy and dancing.
Of course, within reason and if you let us know in plenty of time so we can rehearse it, if we don't know it already that is.
Yes the price we quote includes travel or any other expenses we have.
Yes we take a deposit to secure your date. Contact us for more info on that.
Yes we use a very high standard PA system, digital mixing desk and lighting. It takes us about 30-40 mins to set up and sound check before we're ready to perform.
Absolutely not. We have been playing music together for years and the only reason a member may change is if a band member is sick and must be replaced with a stand in musician. This is extremely rare and couples will be notified if this should happen.
Yes, we suit up with waistcoats and ties same as you see in our video. Gotta look smart!
